Moon Sweepers conveyor calculator
Enter the flow you need to move. The calculator compares it with the belt model and tells you when to split the line.

How it works
A conveyor belt has a throughput ceiling. Above it, items queue and the machines downstream starve. A splitter divides one input into two outputs, and a merger joins two inputs into one; since 1.0.4 it alternates between its inputs.
The belt ceiling is a community model computed from game files, not a measurement. The sources page lists the model and its limits.
Reading the result
- Keep a margin under the ceiling: a belt at its limit stalls on the first hiccup.
- There is no belt speed upgrade in the current version, so more flow means more belts.
- The conveyor guide shows split and merge layouts.
Frequently asked questions
How much can one conveyor belt carry in Moon Sweepers?
The calculator shows the ceiling from the community belt model for the current data revision. It is computed, not measured in game.
Can I upgrade conveyor speed?
Not in the current version: the patch notes confirm there is no speed upgrade for belts or machines. Add parallel belts instead.
How does the merger share its inputs?
Since patch 1.0.4 the merger alternates between its two inputs, so two equal lines are taken in turn.
